What if the impossible, was just that, impossible? What if Jesus did not defeat death and was still bound in his grave? What would the world be like? Would America even exist, would there be churches? What about its colleges, orphanages, & hospitals? Would there even be hope in this world?
This week we look at the impact of those who have believed in a risen savior and if it could have happened if Jesus didn't rise from the dead.

Your invited to come get C.O.S.I (cozy) at our Christians of Southern Illinois revival week! First Christian Church of Pinckneyville will be hosting this event: Oct 31-November 4th, from 7:00 - 8:00 PM. Doors will open at 6:00 for times of fellowship, light snacks and refreshments. At 7:00 PM, our main service will begin featuring local
singing and preachers from right here in Southern Illinois.
Our theme will be "Being a New Testament Christian in an Increasing Changing World." There will be a focus on how to stand for Christian values when you are young, a parent, in the workforce, and the church itself. Each night will be video recorded and made available in the future, as we hope to create a resource for the brotherhood and a time of encouragement for our churches, many of which are struggling.
Monday will begin with a concert with recording artist Tom Shelton. Tom is a favorite within the brotherhood, with 20 years experience singing God's praises at our retreats, concert halls and churches. He has been to all 50 states, worked internationally, and has released multiple albums. His night will be a full night or singing, humor and testimony.
Tuesday, through Friday will focus on preaching and worship:
Leading our worship will be Justin Nehrkorn of Heartland Christian Church.
Sharing the word with us from Southern Illinois: Jeff Silkwood of Friendship Church of Christ, Johnny Cox of First Christian Pinckneyville, Arvin Kirkpatrick of Tamaroa Christian Church, and Les Boldt of Nashville Christian Church.
